Call for Board Members
Society for Nonprofits is seeking qualified candidates to serve on our Board of Directors. The Society is continually expanding its efforts to serve our mission and membership, and a strong board is a critical part of achieving success in all areas.
Board service with Society for Nonprofits is a wonderful opportunity to build and grow an organization that develops leaders and provides resources to smaller, underserved nonprofit organizations.
Society for Nonprofits is particularly interested in board members with experience in membership development, education, ICT (CRMs, websites, etc.) and/or finance. Board financial contributions are voluntary, but we ask that all board members maintain an active Society membership. Board meetings are held virtually and there are approx. 4-6 meetings per year.

- Determine if you are ready to complete the candidate form and explore the opportunity further.
- Complete the board candidate form and submit your resume.
- Society will contact selected candidates to schedule brief one-on-one conversations. Bring your questions.
- Final candidates will be selected and notified.
- Board orientation will be scheduled for incoming board members.
- Welcome! Join in your first board meeting.
