Description

The Foundation supports entrepreneurship and economic development, youth development opportunities, and improvements to the urban environment to enhance the quality of life throughout Greater Boston. Entrepreneurship and economic development grants support programs focused on providing opportunities for youth and community entrepreneurship education, community economic development, job training for youth, and urban youth business and enterprise initiatives. Culture, education and leadership development grants support programs focused on education and leadersip develo0pment opportunities for youth people. Programs may involve team sports, art, dance, music, and theater. Environment and community building grants support program focused on community building through urban community urban community gardens and urban greenspace initiatives. The Foundation defines Greater Boston as Route 128. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
