The Conrad N. Hilton Fund For Sisters

Description

The Foundation honors the desire of Hilton, a notable hotelier, to support the work of Roman Catholic sisters around the world. The Foundation honors his legacy by supporting the apostolic work of sisters in their direct service to the vulnerable and disadvantaged within the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Grants are awarded internationally in the following areas: women and children; immigration/refugee services; anti-trafficking; education/communications; healthcare/HIV-AIDS; clean water/food/agriculture. Domestically, the Foundation awards grants for programs and projects serving women/children, immigration/refugee services; anti-trafficking; literacy, and homelessness. Priority is given to programs/projects that support alternative energy/communication infrastructure; and environmental issues affecting quality of life. Additional information including an online grant application portal can be found on the Web site. The maximum grant is $15,000.
