DescriptionThe Organization focuses on combatting food insecurity in the five boroughs of New York City. The Organization’s goal is to identify and fund projects that address the issue of food in security, taking into account the obstacles as well as imparting the newest nutritional information for pregnant women, babies, and young children. The Organization is interested in innovative, effective, replicable, and/or expandable programs with long-term impact. Successful applicants will have the potential to effect change and engage in their communities in meaningful ways that lead to healthier families. Grants will be project-oriented; the Organization will not award general operating support. Organizations and individuals working within the five boroughs of New York City are eligible to apply.
