DescriptionThe Foundation, created by the family of the vacuum inventor, takes a leadership role in funding unique opportunities that provide solutions to issues related to the Community, Education, and Environment. Community grants are given to projects and programs that make the community a better place to live. Education grants support creative and out-of-the-box ideas to stimulate and inspire students to surpass their own expectations. In the Internet-driven world we live in, the Foundation supports projects that find the tools to fill the needs of fast-paced learners. Environmental grants support ocean conservation and the value of clean water. Grants are also awarded to unique initiatives and cutting edge research in the area of science.
