Description

The Foundation’s Strengthening Organizations Grant Program supports projects with the potential to help Alaska nonprofits better fulfill their missions. The Program seeks applications for capacity building projects that will directly enhance the work of the applicant organization, making it stronger with well-organized systems in place and skilled employees who have the training and resources to successfully provide services. Capacity building projects include leadership development, organizational development, collaboration and community development, evaluation of effectiveness, and nonprofit consolidation. Eligible applicants include nonprofits or equivalent organizations located in the state of Alaska. Equivalent organizations may include tribes, schools, churches, local government agencies, and programs. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
