JOB DESCRIPTION

Resurrection House Inc. provides shelter services to Single Males and appropriate transitional housing for homeless women and children. We operate a shelter that supports six males in an emergency shelter setting and 13 families in transitional affordable housing. The Executive Assistant reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the agency accountant as well as the Resurrection House Inc. staff.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive and accurate records
  • Perform bookkeeping duties – must be knowledgeable with QuickBooks
  • Order office supplies and research new suppliers to ensure the best pricing
  • Prepare and maintain personnel files, payroll data along with time accrual for each employee, submit payroll through ADP
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office
