Description

The philanthropic arm of the U.S. auto manufacturer, the Foundation was established by Subaru of Indiana Automotive to make gifts to qualified nonprofits, institutions, and entities throughout Indiana. These groups must work to improve the quality of life and help meet the needs of the state’s residents. Grantmaking is targeted at the following areas: arts and culture, education, and health and welfare. Grants must be used for investments in facilities, equipment, or real estate made by qualifying organizations. Capital grants, which range from $1,000 to $15,000, must be used for investments in facilities, equipment, or real estate. Applying organizations must be tax-exempt with a chapter or office in Indiana; an educational institution located in Indiana; or an Indiana governmental or quasi-governmental entity.
